Wayangi Desktop
A click-to-connect app that lives in your menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows). No command line — the icon turns green when you're online. For everyone who wants a GUI, not a terminal.
1 · Get your token
Add a device on the dashboard and copy its token.
2 · Download & open
Grab the app for your computer below and open it. A small icon appears in the menu bar / tray.
3 · Connect
Click the icon → Connect, paste your token, approve the password prompt. Done — icon goes green.
Windows
Windows 10/11. Pick your CPU — most PCs are Intel/AMD.

First time you open it
These apps aren't code-signed yet, so your computer will warn you the first time. This is expected — open it once the way below and it's trusted from then on.
macOS
- Unzip and drag Wayangi.app to Applications.
- Right-click the app → Open → Open again.
- (If still blocked: System Settings → Privacy & Security → "Open Anyway".)
Windows
- Run the downloaded .exe.
- If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway.
- Approve the Windows (UAC) prompt when you click Connect.
Linux
- Extract:
tar xzf wayangi-desktop-linux-*.tar.gz - Run
./install.sh(user-level — no root; drops into~/.local). - Launch Wayangi from your app menu; approve the pkexec prompt on Connect.
